About Albert Winter
Sometimes it’s just not your day. Ten year old Albert Winter lives with his mother, father and Great Dane Archie. Lying down with a heavy heart, Albert reflects forlornly on a day of disasters: upsetting Lucy Dredgewater, the Art Class incident and his mother’s incomprehensible combination of egg and banana sandwiches. Worst of all, the intimidating Mrs Havers is ‘very disappointed’ in Albert’s behaviour and has threatened to call his parents.
